Description
This curriculum is based on the educational philosophy and writings of Charlotte Mason, who based all learning on self-discovery, living books, notebooking, and learning through experiencing.
In Wonders of His Love, every lesson contains a reading from the Little Christmas Carol, an additional living picture book reading, Bible reading (reading through Jesus' entire life, death, and resurrection leading up to Christmas), prayer, one rotation subject (poetry, picture study, craft, or baking), one Christmas carol to sing, and Student Workbook page (copywork, illustrated narration, or writing prompt).
What ages is this for?
What ages is this for?
This guide is designed for preschool through high school, for a true family-style resource. The Student Workbooks come in 4 styles to fit all writing levels. All ages (even parents) will get so much out of this resource and all of it points to Christ!
How long does a lesson take?
How long does a lesson take?
This curriculum is designed to present a feast for your children. I provided the feast and you choose which dishes to partake in. It is a very robust curriculum, but designed to take about 30-45 minutes most lessons, with an additional 15-30 minutes on activity days (craft and baking). You can easily adapt each lesson to fit your family's needs! You can also split up each subject and do them at different times of the day.
I imagine most families will swap out their normal read aloud, singing time (hymns/folk songs), picture book reading, Bible study, prayer, Scripture memory, handicraft, copywork, etc. for this resource. If you are already incorporating many of those subjects and just swap them out for this resource for the month of December, it shouldn't take much more time than any other homeschool day.

Includes the fun activities of the Christmas season, but they point back to Jesus!
Christmas time is full of baking and crafting, but all of the crafts and recipes point back to the learning in this resource, that ultimately all ties back to Jesus - the reason for the season! They are fun for all ages and make wonderful keepsakes or gifts!
Virtues + Carols
- In addition to learning about Jesus' life, this resource also includes a study of eight different Christmas carols. Through living picture books, your family will learn the history of the Christmas carols. I chose Little Christmas Carol as the literature read aloud as well because it is a play on the traditional Christmas carols we sing, plus it teaches many important lessons.
- Every week also features one virtue focus that children will learn about and reflect upon through all the subjects and the writing prompt at the end of each week.
This curriculum is a digital download only and includes:

You can print for personal use only or use the Teacher Guide on a phone or tablet. It includes both clickable links (for using digitally) and QR codes (for using a paper copy) so you can easily access all video read alouds, songs, and videos included each week.
