The Voyage to Thanksgiving is a family-style, open-and-go Charlotte Mason-inspired 4-week-long curriculum that teaches the early American history to the whole family (preschool through high school + beyond - parents will learn a lot too) that includes many subjects for a fully-immersive experience!
What Is Included?
- 43-Page Teacher Guide with 4 weekly grids including QR codes for songs, videos, and video read alouds to easily pull up everything without having to mess with finding it on your own!
- Four 30-Page Student Workbooks for all stages of writing (simple words in a large traceable font for preschool/kindergarten, sentences in a slightly smaller traceable font for early elementary, blank lines with print copywork and blank lines with cursive copywork for older students).

This curriculum is based on the educational philosophy and writings of Charlotte Mason, who based all learning on self-discovery, living books, notebooking, and learning through experiencing.
In The Voyage to Thanksgiving, every lesson contains a reading from the Pilgrim Stories, an additional living picture book reading, Bible reading + discussion, prayer, two rotating subjects, and Student Workbook page (copywork, illustrated narration, or writing prompt).
The weekly rotating subjects are poetry study, picture study, hymn, folk song, geography, and an immersive activity.

This guide is designed for preschool through high school, for a true family-style resource. The Student Workbooks come in 4 styles to fit all writing levels. The book list contains additional recommendations for older students.

This curriculum is designed to present a feast for your children. I provided the feast and you choose which dishes to partake in. It is a very robust curriculum, but desgined to take about 15-30 minutes most lessons, with an additional 15-30 minutes on activity days. You can easily adapt each lesson to fit your family's needs!

This file is a digital download ONLY. Once purchased, the files will be sent to the email address you use at checkout. The Teacher Guide and four Student Workbooks are in a compressed .zip file that you can save and use as personal use only.
The Teacher Guide can be used digitally or printed out. Both links and QR codes are found throughout the Teacher Guide so make it easy to pull up videos and video read alouds whether using the Teacher Guide digitally or in printed form.
Printed guides are not available at this time.

- Daily Student Workbook prompts (copywork based on poem and Scripture verse, illustrated narration, and writing prompt)
- QR codes with links to songs, videos, and video read alouds to easily pull them up (truly open-and-go)
Only 2 core books:
- This curriculum uses only 2 core books (the Bible and Pilgrim Stories for the daily readings)
- The rest of the books are living picture books you can check out from the library or watch the included video read aloud!
Student Workbooks for ALL levels:
- This curriculum is truly family-style, meaning everyone in the family can be involved!
- Included are 4 different Student Workbooks for all writing levels
- The youngest students have larger text they can trace and coloring pages
- Older students can choose from print or cursive options and blank lines to practice their attention, detail, focus, grammar, and spelling
